It’s time to retreat to the pub to discover what’s in store in this season. Primed with locally sourced produce to nourish the soul and delight the mind, our carefully crafted collection of seasonal dishes.

Hail our homegrown heroes this autumn as we go green and champion our local suppliers, showcasing some the best of British fruit and vegetables from around the UK. We’re inviting you to grow with us and celebrate as we go from plant to plate. Shining a light on the unsung heroes of the fruit and veggie world.  Keep your eyes peeled and taste buds primed for some incredible ingredients, delectable dishes and plenty of seasonal produce.

Post your roast..to win a Sunday lunch for you and 7 pals

If the sound of double egg Yorkshire puddings, seasonal veggies and succulent roasts has you craving your next Sunday fix, then the great news is the Sunday roast season has well and truly arrived. With the autumn weather bedded in, we’ve pulled out all the stops with some inspired roast menus from in and around our pubs and are proud to showcase some of the most beautiful places to enjoy them in across London and the south of England, from open fires and countryside walks to riverside views and we’ve even got some hotels if you need a quick nap after dinner.

This Autumn we’d love you to join us in raising a roast as we team up with our friends at Berkmann Wine Cellars and you could be in with a chance of winning a complimentary roast dinner for you and seven friends on us at your local Young’s. All you need to do is post your roast along with your favourite glass of wine on Instagram tagging both the pub and @youngspubs with the #raisearoast.

A true London Original

With nearly 188 years in the industry, it’s safe to say that when it comes to great beer we know a thing or two. This year we decided it was time for a change,  and paying homage to our rich brewing heritage, we launched our shiny new pump clips and *brewtiful* glasses across our pubs.  Choosing what our new badges would look like was never going to be an easy task, and after months of deliberation (mainly in the pub of course), we finally decided we wanted to bring our designs back to our London roots, proud that we have been a London brand since 1881. 

What’s in the name? Rest assured it’s the same great beer.  Proud to be a true London Original, we’ve finally given our ale the recognition it deserves.

Balls and Brunch

Calling all rugby fans, the 2019 Rugby World Cup will soon be gracing the screens of our pubs! With early morning matches, it’s the perfect excuse to grab your team and head down for brunch.   Whether you need a hearty meal to prepare you for a day of cheering ahead, or something lighter and perhaps sweater, our extensive brunch highlights are sure to hit the spot whilst you cheer on your rugby favourites!

What makes our veg so special?

Well, when you know you grow! From the delights of our heritage breed Nutbourne tomatoes, hand grown by Jenny and Gary in the Chichester countryside, a family run business, which has been producing tomatoes for over 40 years, to the wild garlic, nettles and foraged foods of the Norfolk broads by Martin Denny, all the way to our micro herb growers Alan and Sue Miller who swapped 20 years of cheffing to grow their own ingredients, and our 3rd generation of farmers with our Markham Farms Asparagus.

SUNDAY RETREATS TO THE PUB

Our chefs take pride in adapting our seasonal British menu inline with locally available produce. This autumn you can tuck into a mouthwatering menu of pub classics, fresh fish specials and succulent roasts packed with locally grown vegetables for the hearty winter warmer.

This pairs perfectly with our array traditional ales, extensive wine list and exciting cocktails.  Perfect for an autumn retreat to the pub to get cosy by a roaring fire.
