What It’s Like to Be a Chef de Partie at Young’s

Being a Chef de Partie at Young’s means playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver fresh, seasonal dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and pace during busy service.

Our kitchens are fast-paced, supportive, and focused on fresh food, giving you the opportunity to refine your skills and gain experience in food-led pubs across London and the South of England. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard

  • Supporting the smooth running of daily kitchen service in busy, food-led pubs

  • Maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency during service

  • Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef as part of a strong kitchen team

  • Following food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards

  • Supporting kitchen prep, organisation, and stock rotation

  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and fast-paced kitchen environment
