Most of us now make a special effort to reduce, reuse and recycle at home, however this year the Park in Teddington have decided to ditch the tinsel, ban the baubles and get crafty this Christmas as they work towards celebrating a more sustainable Christmas. To help them in their quest the talented team will be utilising locally foraged pine cones, crafting salt dough ornaments and shaping disused menus into hundreds of origami stars.
If you’ve never been to the Park, it’s certainly time to add it to your list! Big, bold and beautiful the interior is a place of both splendour and comfort, with plenty of space to adorn with Christmas regalia and with a building this size it’s certainly going to be no small job, thus they have called in the help of the local community to lend a hand.
This year they will be two Christmas Crafting evenings held in their Snug, where you can expect to see plenty of festive folding, ribbon cutting and bow tying taking place. Mulled wine and mince pies will be provided.
