Young’s Day

Celebrate 194 Years Young

Celebrate Young’s Day

This September, we’re raising a glass to 194 years of Young’s – nearly two centuries of beautiful brewing heritage, unforgettable pubs, and countless pints shared with friends. To say we’re proud of our age is an understatement, and we’d love for you to join the celebrations.

Of course, no party is complete without the guests, which is why we’re asking you to help us celebrate as we surprise selected On Tap users with a special treat.

Young’s Day

On Tap App Treat

To celebrate us being 194 Years Young’s, we’re sending all of our Young’s On Tap app customers a treat on us to help kick off the celebrations so, head to your local and raise a pint of Young’s Original (or a diet coke, or even a glass of wine) to Young’s!

To receive this treat, open the Young’s On Tap app and you’ll be automatically awarded it – you can find this in the ‘Your Treats’ section and can be redeemed at all Young’s Pubs and Rooms from 15th – 21st September 2025

Raise a pint Wear the story

Celebrate this year’s Young’s Day in style with our exclusive limited-edition T-shirt. Inspired by our Wandsworth beginnings in 1831, the design is a nod to nearly two centuries of brewing heritage and the beer that’s been at the heart of our story.

Whether you’re raising a pint at the pub or just showing your Young’s pride, it’s the perfect keepsake to mark the occasion, a little piece of history you can wear.

Five ways to celebrate Young’s Day

The Golden Ticket

From 14th–18th September, we’ll be tucking golden tickets into some very special spots across our pubs. A nod to our long history of hospitality and celebration, these tickets are your key to something extra.

Whether it’s a perfectly poured pint on the house or the chance to enjoy an overnight stay for two in one of our stunning pubs with rooms. A rare treat, reserved for a lucky few, and just another way we’re raising a glass to 194 years of Young’s.

Tees the Season

Treat yourself to a limited-edition Young’s T-shirt, designed exclusively for this year’s celebrations. The design pays tribute to our roots in Wandsworth, dating back to 1831, and celebrates the beer that has been at the heart of our story ever since.

It’s the perfect way to take a piece of Young’s history home with you while showing your love for a tradition that continues to bring people together

A brewing classic returns

Enjoy a nostalgic treat with the return of Waggle Dance, brewed using our very own Young’s honey. This special beer brings together the sweet, natural flavors of honey with the craftsmanship you expect from Young’s.

Available in selected pubs for a limited time, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and savour a true taste of tradition

Spot the shire horses

The Shire horses will be making their debut at King Street Brew House in Bristol this year. We continue to celebrate our loyal four-legged friends every year, and you can see them for yourself.

Step into brewing history, meet these gentle giants, and enjoy a pint the way Young’s has always done.

A toast to Tradition

Long before lorries and vans, every pint of Young’s beer made its way to our pubs by horse and cart. These magnificent dray horses hauled barrel-laden wagons through busy streets, becoming a vital link between brewery and bar.

While trucks may have taken over the job today, we still honour our faithful four-legged friends every year, and you can see them for yourself. Step back into brewing history, meet our gentle giants, and raise a pint in true Young’s style.

Where to find the Young’s dray horses this year:

24th August – The Alma, Wandsworth 12 – 4pm

18th September – King Street Brew House, Bristol Time TBC

24th October – Winter Warmer Breakfast

White Cross, Richmond 9am – 12pm

Lamb Tavern, Leadenhall Market 9.30 – 11.30am

Our Heritage

From ancient, oak-beamed village inns to east London underground cocktail bars, Young’s has been running some of the country’s best pubs for nearly 200 years. We’ve seen seven monarchs, 52 different Prime Ministers, two world wars and we’re still going strong today.
