To celebrate 195 Years Young’s, we’re treating our Young’s On Tap app customers to a drink on us. So head to your local, raise a glass and join us in saying cheers to 195 years of Young’s.
Your complimentary drink will be available in the ‘Your Treats’ section of the Young’s On Tap app from 14th–20th September 2026. Simply choose a pint of Young’s Original or Estrella Damm and add it to your basket. Prefer something different? You can also opt for a glass of Morandé Colección Privada Sauvignon Blanc or Merlot, or a Coca-Cola. Your chosen drink will then be automatically redeemed at checkout.
A toast to Tradition
Long before lorries and vans, every pint of Young’s beer made its way to our pubs by horse and cart. Our magnificent dray horses hauled barrel-laden wagons through the streets of London, becoming an iconic part of Young’s history.
This Young’s Day, we’re bringing a little of that history back to the capital. On Thursday 17th September, our iconic Shire horses will be making a special appearance outside The Phene in Chelsea from 12pm–3pm, giving you the chance to meet our gentle giants and raise a glass to 195 years of Young’s.
The celebrations don’t stop there. The Phene will be serving a seasonal three-course lunch for just £19.50, complete with a welcome half pint of Young’s Original and a selection of nibbles, while the Chelsea Pensioners bring even more occasion to the afternoon with a song or two.
The Return of RamRod
To celebrate 195 Years Young’s, we’re bringing back a familiar favourite. From 17th September, RamRod will return to the bar at 22 selected Young’s pubs for a limited time only. And once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Named after RamRod D’Arcy, the Dorset Horn ram who once called the Young’s brewery home and whose likeness still proudly forms part of our emblem today, this is a pint with plenty of Young’s history behind it.
Specially brewed by Head Brewer Simon Perrett at King Street Brewhouse in Bristol, RamRod is a 4.5% ABV craft beer made with pale ale and crystal malt. Expect rich notes of biscuit, toast, toffee and dark caramel, balanced with a gentle herbal bitterness for a satisfyingly malt-forward pint.
Celebrating for a good cause
Young’s Day celebrations will be in full swing across our pubs in London and the South, with everything from raffles and giveaways to live music, parties and plenty of reasons to raise a glass.
And while we’re celebrating 195 Years Young’s, we’ll be raising money for children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon and the incredible local community projects it supports. With over 280 pubs joining the celebrations, find your nearest, get involved in the fun and help us raise a glass, and vital funds, for a brilliant cause.
Our Heritage
From ancient, oak-beamed village inns to east London underground cocktail bars, Young’s has been running some of the country’s best pubs for nearly 200 years. We’ve seen seven monarchs, 52 different Prime Ministers, two world wars and we’re still going strong today.
