With the story that made him famous being as iconic as his white and red flag, a picture of a heroic knight bravely slaying a ferocious dragon is conjured when thinking of St. George. However, like many historic figures, much of his life remains shrouded in mystery. At Young’s, every year on St. George’s Day we like to raise a toast, and with St. George’s Day around the corner, on April 23rd, we thought we’d share some interesting and little known facts about England’s famous patron saint.
