A traditional local pub in that is the heart of the village of Beddington. Built in 1897 on the site of an 18th century inn.It is rumoured that the pub is haunted by a man in a cap and objects have been known to move with no explanation!
The pub still has a tunnel in the cellar that leads to Carew Manor in Beddinton Park which was frequently visited by Queen Elizabeth 1st and Sir Walter Raleigh whose head is buried in the churchyard of St. Mary's Church.
Traditional English food served daily from 12noon - 6pm, with the Chef's specials updated daily and traditional roasts served on Sundays.
