We arrived in the UK a month ago & one of the first places we visited was The Crown for lunch. Since then we have popped in for drinks & meals on a number of occasions. We were made to feel very welcome each visit. The staff & management were warm & friendly & their "yes we can" attitude was very appreciative (look for the sign above the staff door behind the bar!!!). The meals were fantastic & there is a great range of drinks. We also had a family 50th in the Function Room on 10 March. The Manager - Kathleen was absolutely wonderful. She looked after our every request with the Function Room & put on a great spread of food. We would have no problem recommending The Crown to anyone who is looking for a great pub which has great meals & friendly service.

Thanks to Kathleen and all the staff for making our choice of Venue for a 50th Birthday Party the best choice we couild have made.Everyone commented on how much they liked the Venue,Food and drinks. There is room for tables, DJ,dancing,and even a patio for the smokers. Food was excellent. I thoroughly recommend the Crown for Functions.

Last Sunday afternoon we booked the function room of the Crown for a gathering of family and friends after the christening of our daughter. We had a great ttime and would recommend this venue for any such gathering or party, as it is a nicely spacious function room with its own bar and large balcony terrace for an outside area. We had an excellent buffet spread for lunch which was arranged with Kathleen the landlady, who took care of everything in a very friendly and organised way. Thanks again for a really nice time!

We went to the Crown today for our Christmas Day lunch. The food was lovely, all piping hot and freshly made. The staff were warm and friendly, and really helped to make Christmas special. Looking forward to next years lunch.
