A year of stays, seasons & stories

Pull up a chair and pour yourself a drink, let’s take a little wander through the best bits of the year.
Fresh chapters & familiar favourites
This year was remarkable for new beginnings and striking transformations across the Young’s Rooms family, and at the heart of it all, it’s been one for exploring.
From snug winter hideaways to breezy coastal escapes and stylish city boltholes. Across the Young’s Rooms portfolio, we’ve welcomed beautiful new bedrooms, refreshed classics, and unforgettable places to rest your head in every kind of setting.

Winter Stays
Cosy nights & fireside moments
When the days turn crisp and the world outside hushes into a winter lull, there’s nothing quite like a Young’s winter stay to warm the heart and still the mind.
In Wandsworth, the newly refurbished bedrooms at The Alma invite you to linger longer. Think snug Hypnos beds, thoughtful touches, and the perfect spot to unwind after exploring or warming up with a hearty roast downstairs. Not far away, The Crown, Chertsey continues to charm with its epic renovation, elegant rooms and riverside walks that feel just right for those chilly days.
And in the Norfolk countryside, the refreshed bedrooms at The Georgian Townhouse offer a cosy escape where hearty dishes and roaring fires set the tone for restful winter weekends.

Coastal Escapes
Sea air & slow mornings
The call of the coast gets stronger as the seasons change, and our coastal getaways have been among the year’s highlights. Over in south Wales, The Oyster House delivers seaside charm with rooms designed for lingering views and morning coffee by the sea. There’s something inherently restorative about coastal stays, brisk walks along sandy stretches, evenings sampling local seafood, and returning to a warm bed where the air still tastes of salt. These are stays that make winter feel expansive, not retreating.
Further east along the coast, The Hoste Arms offers its own kind of coastal magic. With the North Norfolk shoreline on your doorstep and charming village streets to explore. Its thoughtfully styled rooms strike the balance between relaxed comfort and coastal character, while downstairs the pub buzzes with good food, local ales, and friendly faces, everything you want from a winter escape by the sea.

City Breaks
Culture & cocktails
For those who love the buzz of the city with a cosy bedroom waiting at the end of the day, 2025 has seen some standout urban escapes. In Parsons Green, Aragon House has debuted as a chic West London base, perfect for exploring leafy streets, local markets and late dinners, before returning to boutique comfort upstairs.
South of the river, The Rose and Crown, Wimbledon has refreshed its rooms, offering a welcoming haven whether you’re in town for shows, shopping or Sunday feasts. And the iconic Coach and Horses, Kew now offers rooms that pair city convenience with snug interiors, perfect for balancing London days with peaceful nights.

New year, new plans?
So why not start the new year with an adventure of your own?
When the decorations come down and the pace of life softens, January is the perfect moment to slip away. Crisp mornings, quiet roads, and pubs glowing warmly against the winter chill, it’s a season made for exploring somewhere new, or returning to a favourite place with fresh eyes.
From January, our much-loved One More Sleep offer returns, giving you the perfect excuse to linger. Book two nights and enjoy the second on us, stretching out your stay just a little longer. It’s all about slow starts, unrushed breakfasts, and the joy of knowing there’s no need to pack up just yet.
And if you’re craving something a little more indulgent, our Drink, Dine & Unwind package wraps it all up beautifully. Think cosy rooms, hearty breakfasts, a fireside dinner on the night of your choice, and a pair of seasonal cocktails to toast the days ahead. It’s comfort, good food and proper rest, all taken care of.
New year, new plans, and the best ones always begin with a getaway.
That’s all for now
