A Young’s pub guide

18th May 2021

Is it coming home?

Taking place a year later than originally planned, the UEFA European Football Championship 2020™ takes place this summer. We will be looking at players who we believe could make a difference to their teams run to glory, also looking at the group stage games that you should be looking at booking a seat for now and don’t forget the pubs showing all the action live indoors and outdoors. Join us on our journey of how we think the UEFA Euro™ 2020 will play out.

Where should you watch the games?

5 players who you should keep an eye on:

Joao Felix – Portugal

Thriving in an attacking position and playing with flair, could be one to watch in this great Portugal side.

Dominik Szoboszlai – Hungary

Szoboszlai has been consistently putting in top performances over the past few seasons. Despite Hungary being considerable outsiders for UEFA Euro™ 2020, their star-man Szoboszlai should get football fans talking about the quality he brings to the side.

Phil Foden – England

A maestro of the game has take his stride this Premier League campaign. The dynamic midfielder has played a number of positions under Pep Guardiola this season and seems to thrive wherever he is placed in the team. One to watch.

Gianluigi Donnarumma – Italy

Being 22 years of age for any footballer is considered young, but even more so when the players position is that of a goalkeeper. Gianluigi Donnarumma is already an experienced club level goalkeeper, making his debut incredibly at 16 years of age. He has been between the sticks for Italian side, AC Milan, for the past 6 years. He also has experience as the starting goalkeeper for the Italian national team.

Alexander Isak – Sweden

The 21 year old Swedish centre forward is currently impressing in La Liga. His stats have caught the eyes of many, with 12 goals and 2 assists in 20 matches. A dark horse for the golden boot this tournament.
