We held our Christmas party for 16 people in the private dining room upstairs. The room was cosy and festive, the food was simply delicious and no request was met with anything but co-operation and a happy face... for example the batteries on the Christmas tree lights had run out... and they were replaced as soon as we asked. The atmosphere, food and service for Christmas Day lunch were great. The dining area was well balanced for space and level of noise. The timing between each course was just right. However the size/quantity of the main course was overly generous for us! Whilst I love a Yorkshire pudding the size of each individual pudding was enormous- delicious but just too much! And sadly my husband couldn’t manage the crumble pudding which I’m sure was equally as excellent as my quite large chocolate mousse- which I didn’t think I’d finish but I did ( probably shouldn’t have!)
