Beaujolais Nouveau 2026

The first sip of the season at Young’s
Beaujolais Nouveau marks the end of the grape harvest in the rolling hills of the Beaujolais region. Unlike most wines, which take months or years to mature, this one is bottled and released almost immediately, officially on the third Thursday of November every year.
The result? A fresh, juicy, fruit-forward wine that’s all about celebrating the season, not taking itself too seriously. It’s the wine world’s yearly reminder that joy should be shared, glasses should be full, and great stories often start with the first pour.
Settle in with us on Thursday 19th November as we uncork the very first taste of the season at selected pubs. Whether you’ve long loved Beaujolais or you’re simply curious about this wonderfully mischievous little wine, come find a cosy corner, raise a glass, and savour that fresh-from-the-vine moment.

Bon Appétit & Beaujolais
Join us at The County Arms on Thursday 19th November for an evening celebrating the best of rustic French cooking and the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Settle in for a three-course supper club packed with French favourites, from rich Comté soufflé and hearty duck cassoulet to buttery tarte Tatin. Tickets are £55 per person, including three courses and a medium glass of 2026 Beaujolais Nouveau.
Want to make a real evening of it? Add a carefully selected French wine pairing to each course and raise a glass to a proper French feast.

Stomp, Sip & Supper
On Saturday 21st November, get ready for a celebration of all things Beaujolais at The Georgian Townhouse. Roll up your sleeves for a spot of grape stomping before sitting down to a French-inspired supper club dinner, accompanied by a guided tasting with an in-house sommelier.
Sip your way through Beaujolais alongside a hand-picked portfolio of other wines, while discovering the stories and history behind this much-loved French wine region. Fancy making even more of it? Additional wine pairings can be added to your evening. Good food, great wine and a little grape-stomping thrown in for good measure.
