nanny Sue - such a nice day
31/08/2011
On behalf on my little treasures, Rosie, Melandra and Seth, and at Seth's request that we say thank you to "the ladies", a big thank you for August Bank Holiday Monday.

We had a very nice time. Their mother could relax, and the littles had a wonderful day spending a little pocket money on reasonably priced stalls, and an age on the inflateables with "the ladies".

I am told the beer was good and, biggest plus, as the food looked good, we chose to eat. It wasn't good, it was excellent, so I didn't have to cook.

Our son, their daddy, is away with his regiment, and knowing funds were going to HfH was a bonus.

Great result for all.

gang of 10 - thank you!

a crowd of 10 us have met regularly for a long time at this pub

over the last few months there have been a few problems, and our numbers dropped as some of the gang didn't want to use the place anymore. We were meeting up for one last time, all bringing ideas of where we could start going instead. We met last Monday. It felt different. The staff seemed more .. well, just more! It's hard to explain. We thought it might be a one off, so went back Thursday to test it. WOOO!! good again, and when we heard someone asked for the manager, he was there!
We will not now be switching, and will defo be in with the kids and hubbies on Monday.
THANK YOU and keep up the good work. We will spread the word that the Rose and Crown is once again worth a visit

stompy - thanks
