Dine With Wine

The Alex has been in the centre of Wimbledon since 1876 and welcomes all customers old and new, regulars and visitors. The Alex has two bars to the front and Smart Alex wine bar can be found to the rear.

Unique in Wimbledon, the Alex also has a gorgeous roof terrace and bar, perfect for enjoying the sunny summer days (when we get them) and always popular during Wimbledon fortnight.

The Smart Alex wine bar is also available for private hire for up to 80 people so why not hold your party here too.

Always in excellent condition, we sell the full range of Wells and Young's award winning beers, plus a huge range of wines.

I recently visited my son in Wimbledon and 'made' the Alexdra my local.
I enjoyed every moment I was there and was made to feel very welcome and 'part' of the the Pub.
I thank Sott,Colin,John Silver so part of e Pub.
My photos and experiences have been circulated amongst my friends in Cape Town.
Unfortunately I only started to chat to Paul the manager the night before I left and was not able to pop in again before I left. My apologiesto him but I will be back.
