We had an amazing wedding lunch on Friday 4th and then a very good buffet for wedding party on the Saturday. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend it for a good meal.

In my life I have drank in meny pubs ( a lot realy ) good ones, bad ones, ok ones but reairly do you find a great ones. I poped in to The Royale Oak on Monday and found one of these great pub. I had one of the best pints of bitters ( Directors) I've had in along showing that the keeper of ales knows his job. The bigbloke behind the bar was welcoming and warming and could not do enough for the customers in the pub at the time ( a credit Youngs if I say so ). The pub it self was warm and inviting but in need of a little make over I left felling happy and relaxed and must say quite contented I will return this haven of bitter soon but on a day when they do food if only to taste the delights that others have commented on.

The atmosphere has really changed for the better since Beverley and Adrian have arrived. Called in on Wed, excellent pint Youngs Ale and a lovely lunch with the Missus!
