Plough Inn
518 Wandsworth Road, Lambeth, London. SW8 3JX
T: 020 7622 2777   E: enquiries@youngs.co.uk

There are two Young's pubs in Lambeth which were part of the development that grew up from Vauxhall to Clapham during the 19th century.

The Plough in Vauxhallwas the tap and beerhouse for the Plough Brewery which was next door. It is not known when the brewery was first established, but it was certainly before 1869. The Plough was bought by Young's in 1923, and the brewry buildings were bought by Simmonds of Reading, who were later taken over by Courage. Simmonds never brewed here but the site was used for bottling until 1935.

Toay the Plough is a friendly locals pub with a late licence at the weekend. The Plough offers a pool table and juke box, and Sky Sports, plus a small patio at the front of the pub.
