Testimonials

Service was outstanding. Good food, good drink, what else could a hungry business traveller need? Perhaps good company? That was provided by a work party on the other side of the restaurant. Seems that they were learning to mix cocktails with one of the Lamb Tavern bartenders. I don’t usually do martinis, but I can highly recommend their Espresso Martini …

If you want good food, good drink and a good time, The Lamb Tavern is a really, really good choice.

The Lamb is a bit of a City Institution- historic building. Original parts of the site date back to 50AD though the Lamb started operating as a tavern in 1780. So pleased they haven’t tried to modernise the place. Lovely traditional food that blends well in this environment. Good selection of wines and beers. A very historic tavern with a ‘buzz’.
