Grove, Exmouth

We are right on the sea front at Exmouth. Our balcony has views of the sea, and you can look out all the way to Torbay on a clear day, and also around the Jurassic coast, as Exmouth is the start. We offer blankets to customers if a little chilly, so they can still enjoy the amazing views. Our upstairs function room and dining area also offers the same amazing views of the wonderful Devon coast. We also have a large beer garden which is a wonderful sun trap. At the side of the pub we also have a BBQ area, outside bar, ‘The Cider Shack’, offering a wide range of local Devon Ciders and our ‘Burger Shack’. Both of these are opening throughout the summer months. We are family friendly, dog friendly and offer treats, blankets and toys for our four legged customers.

We attended the Burns Supper on Saturday night. It was a fabulous evening. The tables adorned with tartan tablecloths and a selection of Rabbie Burns poetry , a piper playing as we arrived and such a lovely welcome from the host. Free whiskey tasting as we toasted the haggis. The host did a brilliant rendition of the poem celebrating the haggis. Food was so yummy and the atmosphere was superb. Thank you to everyone involved

We had a works leaving do on Sunday taking over the top room overlooking the sea. We had a two course meal with a family style Roast and puddings – the food was excellent, the staff were really helpful and friendly – would highly recommend.
