This is one of my favourite pubs - absolutely love it! Try going outside on a sunny day - it's awesome and when the fire pits are glowing - what more could you want! It's also dog friendly whch for me is fantastic but unlike many dog friendly pubs, there's plenty of space for them so it doesn't interfere with other customers! The food is excellent and try the scotch eggs - they are to die for! Fantastic landlord in Richard and the amazing Elodie!! Cheers!

A more recent review, I'm currently working not far from the C&H and dropped in for a drink after work and was made to feel most welcomed by the landlord Richard and his staff. I have since returned to this venue on many an occasion to eat and drink and have no hesitation on recommending the C&H whether you want a quick drink or to eat and spend the evening in good company. If you are a smoker (or if not ) there is a marvellous heated outside area, which is kept very clean and warm on these winter evenings and you can eat there in great comfort. TEAM keep up the good work and sorry to say I will be back again. Steve

I LOVE this pub! Very close to where I am currently working and the staff are always friendly and accomodating particularly my favourite barman - you know who you are! The bangers and mash are EXCEPTIONAL just under a fiver on lunchtime menu and also available as a takeway to eat in the office. Great place to catch up for a girly lunchtime chat too. Am looking forward to the open mike nite one Sunday when I manage to round up a few musician friends. Love and peace to the Coach & Horses just about to call you to order 5 takeway bangers and mash for the whole office!!!!!! Helena

My wife and I recently went along to the Coach and Horses, as we passed through Barnes on a Sunday afternoon. Although the weather wasn't so good, we managed to get a table inside the bar, and were welcomed immediately. I had a great pint of youngs. My wife enjoyed the wine too! On reading their menu we decided to stay a while longer, and both enjoyed our mains of Fish & Chips and a hearty Burger. The staff were helpful and polite, and even knew our names and vise versa by the end of the afternoon. I will definitly recomend this traditional pub to friends and family, or anyone looking for a lazy sunday. John & Vivian Hope

I have to say I dropped into the Walnut Tree at the Coach and Horses and it was truly delightful. My Mum and I had cream teas which were served in wonderful china tea cups and the scones were pretty impressive too!!

Lisa was a great host and kept us entertained for an age, not often you get great service like that and we will now become regulars to The Coach and especially the Walnut Tree. See you soon!!
