"Having been in the industry for fifteen years both as tenants, lessees and managers, two years ago we applied for a Youngs tenancy. Of the Companies we have run pubs for ie Whitbread, Sam Smiths, Admiral Taverns, Scottish and Newcaslte and Punch Taverns, Youngs is by far the best. We have found that they are very straight forward in their dealings with tenants, always ready to help in many ways to improve the business, for example last year I decorated the pub throughout and Youngs spent a lot of money refurbishing the toilets. I have found that the pubs are some of the best tenancies to be had in London, both my brother and sister also run Youngs pubs and we are all in agreement that it would be foolish to consider any other Company. The Company is small enough to have a friendly feel, ie the same voices on telesales and the same Area Manager, not constantly changing like a lot of Companies.
