Cockburn & Campbell is a wine merchant that was established in 1791. It has been wholly owned by Wells and Young's since the merger of the two breweries in 2006.
Where possible, C&C are the exclusive agency of the brands that they import, and they are proud to represent such producers as El Coto de Rioja, Alta Vista from Argentina, Terramater from Chile, Nittardi from Italy, Le Sanglier from Mont Tauch in Southern France, and Mission Estate from New Zealand. They have very strong relationships with all these producers, who constitute an important part of the Young's wine lists. C&C is the sole wine supplier to both the Charles Wells and Young's estates.
Young's tenants have access to a wide range of quality wines and spirits from Cockburn and Campbell. This is supported by Wine Roadshows, which give the Tenants opportunity to taste the wines available and choose from a selection of printed lists. Merchandising is also provided, to help the promotion and display of wines within the pubs.
Staff training and wine tasting evenings can be organised to suit the individual needs of the tenants.
