'After a career in the music business I decided to look at taking on a pub back in 2001 and looked around to see what was available. Luckily we found The Wheatsheaf in Borough Market which was being offered as a Young's Tenancy. After meeting with Young's and discussing our plans we quickly decided that this was the company for us.

We received great help at every level as we began to build the business and soon felt that we were really part of the Youngs family. We had frequent visits from the late chairman and have recently welcomed numerous members of the board when they pop by for a pint.

We have always felt that everyone within the company has been very approachable and that should I need to talk to anyone at any level, this would never be a problem.

The Wheatsheaf has been a great experience for us and has really changed our lives, so a big thank you to all at Youngs for all the help along the way. '
