As the long, sunny days become cool and damp once more, we turn to the kitchen for comfort- and autumn is bountiful in supply. Pies, casseroles, roasts; autumn is nothing if not full of the most satisfying and bone-warming food. This time of year, we’re particularly excited about locally sourced game, which returns from its summer hibernation, back onto our menus across the estate.

To celebrate seasonal British game, we are hosting a series of exclusive feasts in our pubs and making sure you receive your invite to try it out.

Events kick off with premium game dealers, Chris and Pete from Blackmoor Game, who give a firsthand masterclass in how to prepare and cook their meats and then discuss the journey from field to fork. Following that, there will be an impressive three-course dinner, hosted by Berkmann Wine Cellars, with each course paired with two of their wines.

At around £35 per person (pub depending), this really is a bargain for such a lavish experience, and spaces are filling up fast!
